Idol Village is WSF’s free to attend “taiban” (idol event which features multiple performers) series mimicking idol events run in shopping centers and malls in areas like Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Idol Village is held on weekends at Japan Village Brooklyn, located in Building 4 of the Industry City complex in Brooklyn, NY.

Our goal with Idol Village is to expose individuals who may have previously never been able to attend an idol event, or may be unaware of Japanese idol culture. Our events have a blend of genres and styles, featuring cosplay groups, cover idols and original “kaigai” (overseas) idols from across North America.

While our Idol Village series event is completely free to attend, Wota Sans Frontieres does offer VIP tickets that include a special photo op with the performers, and a special trinket showing our gratitude for supporting our cause.
